Quorum ("we", "us", "our") operates the Quorum platform, accessible at byquorum.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our platform and services.
By accessing or using Quorum, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register for Quorum, we collect your name, email address, and company name. If you are invited by another user, we also receive the email address used for that invitation.
Business Content
We collect information you voluntarily provide to operate Quorum on your behalf, including:
- Documents, brand assets, and files you upload
- Website URLs you submit for AI analysis
- Campaign briefs, instructions, and operational inputs you write
- Business descriptions and company information
Usage Data
We automatically collect data about how you interact with the platform, including:
- Pages visited, features used, and session duration
- IP address, browser type, and device type
- Referring URLs and navigation paths
- Error logs and performance data
Communications
We collect messages and content you submit through chat features and communications with AI agents on the platform. This includes the full text of your conversations with Quorum's AI team members.
Payment Information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Quorum does not store your full payment card details. We retain only billing metadata, including your subscription plan, the last four digits of your payment method, expiry date, and billing address.

- To provide, operate, and maintain the Quorum platform and its AI features
- To process your instructions and content through our AI providers
- To send product updates, security notices, and billing-related communications
- To respond to support requests and resolve issues
- To improve platform performance, identify bugs, and develop new features
- To enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
- To comply with applicable legal obligations
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
4. AI Processing
Quorum uses Anthropic's Claude API and OpenAI's API to process your requests and generate content. Your inputs, business content, and instructions may be transmitted to these providers to produce AI-generated responses, designs, documents, and other outputs.
We do not use your data to train AI models. Both Anthropic and OpenAI maintain their own privacy policies and security practices, which govern how they handle data transmitted through their APIs. We encourage you to review their respective privacy documentation.
Where voice features are used, audio data may be processed by our voice provider to enable real-time speech interactions.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the platform:
- Anthropic — AI processing (Claude API)
- OpenAI — AI processing and image generation
- Stripe — Payment processing and billing management
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud hosting and infrastructure
- Twilio — Voice calling features
Each service provider is bound by data processing agreements and is prohibited from using your data for purposes other than providing services to Quorum.
Business Transfers
If Quorum is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and in-app notice of any such change and any resulting changes to this Privacy Policy.
Legal Compliance
We may disclose your information where required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for 90 days following account deletion, to allow for recovery and to fulfill our legal obligations.
Campaign outputs, mission results, and AI-generated deliverables are stored for the life of your account.
You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at legal@byquorum.com. Following a deletion request, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
All Users
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
EU/EEA Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (Quorum does not sell personal data)

8. Cookies and Tracking
Quorum uses the following types of cookies and similar tracking technologies:
- Essential cookies: Session cookies required for authentication and platform functionality. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: Cookies that help us understand how users interact with the platform so we can improve performance and user experience.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell data to advertising networks. You may disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.
9. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or alteration. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments
- Monitoring for suspicious activity and security incidents
In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and, where required by law, the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.
10. International Transfers
Quorum is operated from the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your personal data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
For users in the EU/EEA, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, where required by applicable law.
11. Children's Privacy
The Quorum platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us at legal@byquorum.com and we will promptly delete such information.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or platform features. We will notify you of material changes via email and through an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
